Blogging

Well I read the pages you wanted us to, and I found it was really interesting. I didn't know blogging could have such an impact in a classroom, or I didn't even really know what blogging was until I read about it. All the plus', and benefits blogging can do for a student, is nothing like I've ever known before. Blogging provides a wide range of information for a student. The information is well organized for them, and it'll probably be more meaningful coming from their peers. I love hearing about other people's opinion's, it helps me better understand my own. Blogging in a classroom provides that for a student, they can share their ideas, and grow more knowledge about a particular topic. Another thing that caught my attention about blogging, was the fact that parents can get involved with their child's curriculum. They can tune in the website, and find out exactly what is going on in their child's classroom. For the students who are shy to voice their opnion, this provides them a chance to be able to. Blogging is a great thing, and I wish it was more expressed when I was in highschool.

Internet

WHere ever there is a good there has to be a bad, or where ever there is a bad there will alwyas be a good. Internet is a prime example of that, there are a lot of good that comes with it, and there is also bad.. Good because of all the information you can gather really quick. Bad because there is no privacy on the internet. I guess you just have to learn how to roll with the punches just like everything else.

My Presentation

Well im pretty nervous right about now, because we are about to do out presentation. Im happy that we got it done though. It wasnt as bad as I thought it was going to be, the hard part is presenting it now..

bullying on the internet

Parents should be more involved in their childs lives when it comes to the internet. Parents should try to know everything their child does while they are on the internet, especially with everything that has happened so far

Facebook

Facebook is really fun everybody I know owns an account. I think it is appropriate to have an age limit, but it is too easy for anyone to lie about their age. I dont think there is much harm in facebook, even though a picture can say a thousand words. If a person dont like the non-privacy in facebook, they can easily quit it. Which I doubt anyone would, because facebook is so fun, just gotta learn how to roll with the punches..
